yacht designer david pedrick, historian and 6mR owner
toby rodes, and the president of the international 6mR class, tim
street will present an insider's preview of the upcoming world cup
event. they will also discuss some of the noteworthy happenings
in the 100 year story of these remarkable boats.
this will be a unique opportunity to get a
professional's understanding of the class and the plans for newport
2009.
this event is
open to all New York Yacht Club members as well as all six metre
enthusiasts. (club membership not required) cocktails at 6:00 pm
followed by the presentation and dinner.
